My family and I began working with Lucy after 12 months of extremely poor sleep. We felt as though we were failing as parents, we did not have the energy for our beautiful little girl in the evenings after a busy day at work and we both dreaded the nights. We were exhausted, stressed and at a loss as to what to do. We were also noticing our daughters mood deteriorating.
Lucy was recommended by a sympathetic friend. From our first meeting with Lucy we felt a sense of relief, she was extremely supportive, non judgemental and assured us that we would not be leaving our daughter to cry, our biggest fear with sleep training. Lucy explained that she would teach us her stay and support method to enable our little girl to achieve a better nights sleep.
Lucy guided and advised us on how to teach our daughter to self settle with her gentle and baby centred approach. Each meeting with Lucy allowed us to get closer to resolving our daughters poor sleep and after just 2 weeks our little angel was sleeping through the night.
We went from co-sleeping and waking on the hour every hour, to putting our daughter down to sleep at 7 in her own cot where she sleeps until 7/7.30 the next morning. Our evenings and nights are now uninterrupted and Lucy supplied us with information on how to handle upcoming events that may interrupt our daughters sleep. Since working with Lucy we have confidently navigated illness, nap transitions and vaccinations.
I would highly recommend working with Lucy if you are experiencing sleep deprivation as a parent. It is the best thing we ever did for ourselves and most importantly our daughter. She is so happy and content now that she is benefiting from a full nights sleep, as are we!
