When my little boy was 9 months old I contacted Lucy, I was 4 months pregnant with my 2nd baby, working full time on the road, my husband worked away 3 nights a week and we were getting little or no sleep!! I was near breaking point!!
A friend of mine told me they had contacted Lucy about their little boy and had never looked back.
My little boy was a really bad sleeper, he only took a 20-30min …nap once a day and maybe 10mins in the afternoon if I was lucky. He would go to bed at night no problem but he would wake some nights for 2 or 3 hours at a time, crying or talking. Some nights he would wake and cry out for us up to 10 times a night. He was a fan of waking up about 4:30 or 5am for the day!!!! We would take him into our bed out of sheer desperation to try and get some sleep and this worked for a few weeks, he might sleep for 2 hours in our bed with us, but after a few weeks he just saw our bed as a play ground!! Some nights we were only getting 2 hours sleep!
From the first day I skyped with Lucy everything changed, it was amazing!! Lucy worked with us on my little boys naps and bedtime and he took to it from day 1. Even when he got a bad cold in the middle of the changes Lucy helped us work through it and stick to our plan. The support calls were so helpful and we really felt like we had someone cheering us on.
My little boy now takes 2 proper naps during the day, and sleeps 11 hours at night, and maybe only looks for his soother once. There are no more 4:30am starts, our day starts at 6am and not before it!!
I’m now over 5 months pregnant and like a different person, I get the proper rest and sleep I need being pregnant, and so does my husband and our little boy!
Lucy both myself and my husband can’t thank you enough, . It’s SO true…..sleep really does matter!!
