When we contacted Lucy Wolfe for help with our seven month old’s sleep, we were rocking and feeding to sleep at bedtime – a process which would often take hours and resulted in 40 minutes sleep at best. We were cosleeping most of the night with our son M, who would wake and feed almost hourly. We had no consistent nap schedule, or real daytime routine with breastfeeding on demand. Where and when sleep would happen was unpredictable and we were spending hours walking the buggy / driving in an attempt to achieve naps.

Although it promised much needed better sleep, I was really dreading the ‘sleep training’ exercise, expecting an inconsolable baby (and Mum) with crying for hours on end. I didn’t think I would handle it well. In total contrast to this, it was so so much better and easier than I expected with really minimal upset. We saw progress quickly and everything started to click.
With Lucy’s help and expertise, M’s sleep has been totally transformed. M now goes down in his own room for naps and at bedtime. He is asleep within minutes, takes long and consistent naps and happily stays asleep for the night, resettling himself back to sleep when he wakes. We would not have imagined it was possible.
