We would like to thank you Lucy for the advice and guidance you gave,
which has led to our 16 months old baby boy learning how to sleep
throughout night.
Previously, our night routine was a constant effort to try to get our baby to sleep even close to the minimal amount of time required for a baby his age. Our little boy was very depended on night feeds, every 2 hours, which led to a fully sleep deprived family and a baby open to catching every buy going.
Now, he is sleeping 12+ hrs a night, 1.5hrs for his nap during the
day, knows how to fall asleep by himself, enjoys the routine and wakes happy and relaxed. His form in general has much improved and that is saying something for a baby who was quite happy to start with. We saw major results in the 1st week of the process, and these expanded throughout the rest of the process.
Keeping to the routine and the associated time it takes has allowed
for a quality experience before bedtime and, in its own way, reduced
the amount of time it takes our baby to fall asleep.
We would highly recommend Lucy and her methods, as they do not involve any added anxiety for your child. In our case it reduced the amount of anxiety for him as he was becoming impatient trying to go to sleep in our arms. This would eventually result in him being in the bed with us from midnight onwards.
We wish we had known of this process earlier and we will definitely
employ it if we have another bundle of joy
