We had purchased Lucy’s book when our little one was 3 months as the sleeping pattern was somewhat OK for the day but we were up every two hours during the night, which reduced to forty minutes of sleep with an hour of resettling/walking/bouncing and back to forty minutes. We finally contacted Lucy two months later just before our little one turned six months and it was the best thing we could have done for everyone.
Lucy is an absolute professional, she went through everything with my wife and as we were going through the process we kept a record of everything from food, walks to sleep. Initially it was difficult as we had the help of a professional but were observing at first so she could see what we were doing and where we were going wrong. Of course looking back this information is required as Lucy did not know the ins and outs of our day to day until we started monitoring it and updating her.
Our daughter took to sleeping in her cot like a duck to water. Gently working from beside her in the night time to outside the door and with very little crying was a huge shock to us. For the first time in about six and a half months all three of us were getting a good nights sleep, most importantly our little one was sleeping from 7pm to 6am. Listen to Lucy’s as she is the expert and remember to stick to the plan. 4 months on and we are testament to that.
We can’t thank Lucy enough. Its been around four months since we last spoke to Lucy and our little one is still sleeping from 7pm to 6am 99% of the time. Of course with sickness and teeth she has had a few dodgy nights of about ten hours, only one night where she had an extremely high temperature where she got little to no sleep. But after a trip to the doctors, some medication and keeping to the usual daytime routine she fell right back into her sleep pattern.
One thing both my wife and I love is the night time/going to bed routine as its quality playtime one on one in her room and she knows what to expect. Playing with her little cubes and even if she is super sleepy she will crawl towards her night time story and point looking for it before bed.
I can’t recommend Lucy highly enough, we have recommended her to some friends who had similar issues and they have had similar results.
Thank you Lucy.
