Lucy is so calm when you feel like you’re going to lose it, and working with her will give you the confidence

“F was 13 months when we contacted Lucy. From early on he was an excellent sleeper until we were in hospital with him for a week when he was 18 weeks old. From then on it felt like we’d lost control over the sleep routine; the more tired we became the less able we were to make decisions on what would be the best routine/course of action. As the months went on, F would take longer and longer to settle in his cot at night. When he could stand up in his cot he would not lie down and would make himself sick with crying so much. It felt like the only way to get him to sleep was to hold him or stay with him (for sometimes 2 hours) until he fell asleep. In the night his sleep was broken and we would go in to him and in the end take him into bed with either one of us. Going to bed felt like something I would dread as I never felt I was going to get some rest – it was more a case of wondering how long it would be before F would wake up and get into our bed. Co-sleeping was affecting us dreadfully. I found it very unsettling as I really wanted F to be safely asleep in his own cot, not in a big, high bed with no railings. We really had no idea how to help F sleep on his own and we were too tired to see things clearly.
A friend recommended Lucy and as soon as I had explained F’s patterns she came up with an effective, logical process for helping Freddie learn to self-settle. I was able to support F through this transition and it never felt like I was abandoning him nor leaving him to cry. The program was a great thing for F. He now sleeps from 7pm until 6am most nights (unless he’s teething). He will self-settle and at night he will chat happily to himself before going to sleep, without us having to be with him. He also has good naps in the day and is altogether a more rested, happier boy. And we are more rested, happier parents. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lucy’s services.and tools to really get a handle on your little one’s sleep.”
