B was turning 19 months old and we could not say he had slept one full night from the time he was born . He did everything he was suppose to do for his age up to four weeks old , sleepy baby and woke for feed every 3/4 hours . After 4 weeks he became very uneasy and began to wane more , skeeping tine hit shorter abs waking more often……< We figured out it was silent reflux so gave him gaviscon and held him sitting up for 30 mins After each feed, it did settle him but still after 6 months even after starting solids he was not sleeping as he should , after starting to crawl and walk still not sleeping! B wouldn't take a soother so we were still giving him a small bottle which did get him back to sleep a nd so the vicious cycle started!! Sleep wake bottle back to sleep!! We thought one night something wiuld just click and he would surprise us with a full night!!! Ben was one and a half and waking for a 1/2oz bottle 6/7 time a night!! Serious frustration and sleep deprivation! Not happy mammy s d not a happy baby!!
We have a 5 year also , so we were afraid he would wake when B woke and giving B the bottle stopped that .
It had reached s stage where we couldn’t function anymore and I contacted Lucy , and yes it worked!!! I read the website and read a piece that sounded exactly like B! Could this be true and real solution for B ‘s waking , yes it was. I still can’t believe he sleeps 10/11 hours ! Lucy was extremely professional and reassuring , I believed he would change even after the first consultation. It was really really tough going for the first two weeks and then we saw signs of long stints of sleep and then it happen on day 17 he slept till 5 from 7 , we were in such disbelief that it had happened. Every stage if the sleep trained was tough and constant but everything that Lucy had said would happen happened at each stage . We are so grateful for Lucy’s help she really knows her stuff!!! Our lives have changed and our house in s happier place!! B and S get on well now.B is a different boy ,he loves his bedtime and I’d full of energy and happy all day! Thank you to Lucy for giving us sleep and sanity and happy toddler , you are amazing!!!
