THANK YOU LUCY – you literally saved my sanity.

I brought my daughter S to Lucy when she was just 4 months old. I was at my wits end. She is my first child, and was long awaited. To say her arrival was a complete shock is an understatement, nothing prepares you. Looking back I would definitely say I was borderline post natal too. S had silent reflux and suffered badly with it, the painful crying and no sleep were my ultimate nightmare. Lucy was my last hope. Lucy was absolutely amazing from our first meeting. Did I believe that I would be able to get S to sleep through the night? – NO – but I lived in hope. Lucy was very quick to catch onto how I was coping or not as the case may be and recommended I look after myself first and foremost.
My husband was away at the time I first met Lucy and so she advised that I wait to start the process when he came home, but I couldn’t wait. By the time I got home that evening I decided to try the tips she had suggested. I couldn’t believe it IT WORKED. S was asleep by 7pm that evening, THE FIRST TIME EVER. Usually it would by anytime between 9-11pm. And so it continued. My husband couldn’t believe it, my family couldn’t believe it. It took about 3-4 weeks of sticking with the routine before S fully got the hang of it and was able to put herself to sleep and we have never looked back. The best money I have ever spent.

I had reason to contact Lucy for additional support recently as the sleeping had slipped due to a bad cold and severe teething and we were heading into week 4 of 11pm bedtimes. Lucy recommend a few tweaks to her routine and also asked me how she was doing food wise. S was not eating. I put it down to the fact that the reflux medication had been so awful that she wouldn’t take any food, plus my doctor said ‘Food till one is fun’, so I wasn’t too worried. Lucy gave me some advice which I implemented the next day and low and behold S ATE – happily. Again we couldn’t believe it. She is back to sleeping at 7pm and waking at 7am. I don’t know why but I still find it unbelievable.

Today S is 11 1/2 months old and is a very happy baby, eating full bowls for breakfast, dinner and tea and a great sleeper.

THANK YOU LUCY – you literally saved my sanity.
