today we have met all of our sleep goals!

My son R had never been a great sleeper, and every sleep regression hit us at full force. When he turned one, the bedtime struggles, long night waking’s and early rises were taking such a toll on our family that we were desperate for some help and contacted Lucy via her website.

Lucy worked with us to offer practical advice on where the issues were specifically focusing on naptimes and bedtime routine. Throughout the process Lucy was respectful and non-judgemental, and understood that I had to work within my own comfort zone in terms of sleep training especially as my son developed major separation anxiety shortly after we started the process. As a result of this and some bouts of sickness after starting crèche, it took a number of weeks to get to the point where Ryan’s sleep patterns were more reliable.

I never thought I would say it, but today we have met all of our sleep goals! R takes decent day time naps, goes to bed at a consistent time without my intervention and night wakings are much less frequent and again only a little intervention is needed from me e.g. replace dummy, to get him back to sleep. Our quality of life has really improved and without Lucy we may never have had the right information, strategies or support to help R get a good night sleep. We will be forever grateful!!
