Having sleep trained our first daughter with ease we never imagined that we would need the help of a sleep consultant. However, having twin girls posed greater challenges than that of a singleton. Friends and family all offered advice and tales of wisdom but none of them had twins.
At 14 months, our twin girls E and O were taking two naps a day at varied times and for varied lengths. Although they went to sleep each night unaided, they woke once if not twice a night each looking for bottles. Afraid one girl would wake the other we whipped them out of the cot and went downstairs for feeds & cuddles each night. We were both exhausted and with our fourth baby due to arrive in less than 3 months it was time to take action and stop waiting for them to grow out of it! We were unsure where to start with sleep training and weaning. Making contact with Lucy was the best decision and once we did, we wished we had called her sooner.
The instructions and techniques were crystal clear and within a week we saw fantastic results. It was so great to get advice from someone who understood multiples. Both Emily and Olivia now sleep from 7 o’clock each night to 6:30/7 each morning. Their body clocks are so well trained that they sleep at the same times each day and wake naturally and happy at the expected times. Not only that but their appetites have improved and they are really happy & content.
